Welcome screen for the Attribution Manager
Existing Product & Problem
Many Japanese affiliate platforms have similar features without thinking about the user experience. The platforms all look the same so introducing what works in global asps felt like the next best step.
Process
Research & Discovery
With my experience of working at a global affiliate company, I looked into what we were missing and worked with the business side to talk about what could be done with the current platform and how our Japanese users were perceived. I learned about the business objectives and more about the current plaatofmr and problems.
Concerns
A lot of the UI is old and the system is complex, so I wondered how much could be updated. A lot of features might not work due to how the business wanted to handle our users.
Ideation
I looked at the areas with most interest and created concepts of each new feature aswell as the diagrams to explain how It would fit into the overall application.
Solution
I put forward around 40 different features and whittled them down to 3 that are possible to do such as helping with onboarding improvements as the current onboarding seemed the area that needed most work.
Future Vision
I hope to improve the platform we have little by little. I believe it would help to improve the onboarding and then work on how to make it easier to guide users to where they want to, so I. Want to introduce new features.
